Thanks for the video, I really love nutrition. a few comments, you said that when people came from europe, they did not have sugar cane or corn so the body is not built to digest these things; it seems like you are commenting for people of european descent. I’m pretty sure high fructose corn syrup and other forms of sugar have negative effects on people that are not of european descent as much as they do on europeans.
Also, I would have liked if you had more quantitative/numerical information.

I agree with what she said about dieting

Thanks for dissecting the biology behind cravings! You explained it in a way that makes me not want to blame myself for wanting something sweet. It may mean that I’m thirsty or tired! I put this on my blog today (TheSkinnyOnline) and linked to Psych Truth so my readers can find you. Thanks!

I dont understand why the FDA hasnt banned the use of chemicals that are known to cause cancer in lab rats! I understand it helps farmers financially from losing crops but if all this crap is harmful to the consumers health organic farming should be law shouldnt it?

commenter

rinsing it doesent rid of the chemicals that are inside of it, it only gets rid of the pesticides and fertilizer that was left over.

Hey Eye Opener … How are you ? This is the best video I have ever seen talking about weight loss in a proper way…. Thanks a TON ! You are life saver.

Check my profile for free diet help , i lost over 50 pounds in 4 months using it.

Strange, do you drink soda? It’s the usual cause of hunger because of the blood sugar dip. If you eat lots of fiber, you should stay full longer. I’ve stopped drinking soda and juice and my stomach never growls like it used to when I was drinking soda. Are you lacking nutrients like she says in the video? She said to eat food that are grown and not process or artificial. Hope this helps.

commenter

It isn’t, because the fruits and vegetables absorb the pesticides from the soil, as well.

Interesting factoid: strawberries are especially good at absorbing things from the soil, so they’re one of the most important to get organic (most berries, actually). Same with root veggies.

Some things aren’t as important, such as bananas, because 1. you peel the outer layer, and 2. they’re at the top of a tall tree, where hopefully the pesticides haven’t easily reached the top through the roots.

commenter

Agreed!

Also because it just tastes better. So many people think they don’t like tea, and it’s only because they’ve been drinking that powdered instant crap their whole lives.

Most tea should have instructions on the package for how to brew it correctly. If it says 5 minutes, that doesn’t mean 6 minutes. Use a timer.

Interesting video(s) but not a huge attention grabber. I’d (personal preference only really) like to see some XTREME ADVERTIZING for this just to see if you can get a lot more views. You may lose a bit of content value but for the people that are a bit “higher level” have a written part and possibly user interaction with the production of the videos. Like a user question or tip of the day, everyone loves to see their name.

Most important things about tea are:
1. LOOSE LEAF TEA (pyramid bags at a bare minimum)
2. DON’T USE TAP WATER
3. BREW TEA CORRECTLY (too much to write in 500 characters)

commenter

*unsweetened* tea has no calories, and is extremely healthy. especially green tea, of course. develop a taste for it, if water is too “boring”.

or you can add real fruit to water (whatever you like), and that has very few calories.

Organic foods are really expensive!! And sometimes hard to find in a wide variety though! Ive just been rinsing regular vegetables thoroughly and wonder if that is just as good as buying organic?
