speedy weight loss? No good,it causes flab.Flab is difficult to get rid of.Even if you look lean and hold your stomach in,the flab will still be there,hard to get rid of.Long distance walking works well,jumpropeing too.Yep,my kids taught me walking backward from their PE teachers.

I don’t know. I’d rather walk backwards, than be a fat, ugly obese person that nobody wants to look at when they leave their house.

Also, for some great toning on the back of your legs, try to walk backwards on a slight incline for about 5 minutes (about 2-3 times a week). Your calfs and hamstrings will look so sexy!!

Exercising increases your lifespan just by a few more years. Yeah, everyone will die, but wouldn’t you want to live to be grandparent? Not have a heart attack by the time you are 40?

NOT ME!! So, I love exercising and I do it about 6 days a week (for only 1 1/2 hour; 90 minutes in other words).

But you have your own lifestyle and such. I just hope you don’t end up like these 700-900 lbs. obese folks who can’t even leave their house. That’s sad…Good luck to you…

Congrats, nimenialturo, you did it the right way. Speedy weight loss actually hurts your body as much as it helps. The gradual rate you used ensured that you got the maximum benefit from your effort. Now if we could only convince the rest of the world to do the same. Would be a much better place IMHO. :)

I enjoy walking backward. It strengthens my legs, improves my balance and helps my lower back. But you cannot do it for very long distances without a break. Here’s how I do it. I walk forward from one end of a field to the other end, making sure there are no rocks or holes I might trip over. Then I walk backward the length of the field, then forward, then backward again. It strengthens the front of the legs and knees.

Exercising is a waste of time. Everybody eventually dies. The government only wants the masses to exercise so they will feel healthy and possibly live a tad longer thereby increasing the amount of revenue for the government. Not only do I get bored and irritable watching people exercise, but also rather tired. Enough already.
